What it is
Language limitation lets you choose exactly which languages your listeners are able to select. Listeners only see and choose from the languages you enable, so you stay in control of both the experience and the cost.
Where to find it
Open the Settings tab and go to your language settings. From there you decide which languages are available to your congregation.
Why use it
Glossa bills per language, so each additional language that gets used adds to your cost. If every one of the 100-plus supported languages were open, a listener could turn on a language you never intended to pay for. Limiting the list to the languages your congregation actually needs keeps your costs predictable and prevents unnecessary or accidental usage.

Frequently asked
Does the number of listeners affect my cost?
No. Whether 5 or 500 people connect, the price is the same. Cost is driven by how many languages are being translated, not how many people listen.
Can a listener pick a language I have not enabled?
No. Listeners only see and choose from the languages you turn on in settings.
Can I change the enabled languages later?
Yes, anytime in settings.

Setting it up
- Open the Settings tab.
- Find your language settings (the list of available languages).
- Enable only the languages your congregation needs, and leave the rest off.
- Save. Listeners will only be able to choose from the languages you enabled.
How it protects your costs
- Billing is per language, calculated per minute. Silence and songs are not billed, and the number of listeners never changes the price. What adds cost is each distinct language being translated.
- By capping the enabled languages, you cap the maximum number of languages that can ever be active at once, so your cost stays within a predictable ceiling.
- Because listeners can only pick from your enabled list, no one can trigger a language you did not intend to offer.
Tips
- Enable just the languages you know your congregation needs. You can always add more later.
- If you are still testing, start with one or two languages to keep costs minimal while you learn the system.
