The translation accuracy seems low
Most accuracy problems trace back to the audio coming in. Here's how to improve it.

- Use a clean, direct line from your soundboard where you can. It almost always beats a microphone picking up the room.
- Keep a consistent microphone technique, with the speaker a steady distance from the mic.
- Aim for a moderate speaking pace. Rushing and mumbling are hard for any transcription system.
- Reduce background noise and echo where possible.
Check your settings
- Confirm your source language is set correctly. If it's wrong, the transcription will struggle from the start. See "Choosing your source language" in Getting set up.
- Check your audio levels before the service so the signal is clear and steady, not too quiet or distorted.
Good to know
Some languages are especially strong, including Korean, Spanish, and English. The AI models behind Glossa also keep improving over time, and those gains reach you automatically with nothing to update on your end. If accuracy stays poor even with clean audio and the correct source language, contact us at [email protected] and tell us the languages involved so we can help.
